Glentanner Park is a holiday park, flight-seeing and activity centre, and the only fully equipped campground for the Aoraki Mount Cook region, New Zealand.
Set amongst a working sheep station on the shores of Lake Pukaki and just 18km from Mount Cook National Park, Glentanner is the complete Mount Cook experience.

We offer affordable accommodation including self contained motel style units, basic and standard units, backpackers, campervan park and camping sites - with panoramic views of Mount Cook and Mount Cook National Park.

Visitor information centre for Mount Cook activities and sightseeing bookings, a licensed cafe and New Zealand merino wool retail and souvenir shop.

Glentanner has something for everyone. Activities include flightseeing, helicopter flights with snow landings, glacier trips, heli-skiing, fishing, hunting, ice climbing and leisure walks.

Payment Policy:

ACCOMMODATION BOOKINGS: You will be charged the total of your first night's stay upon booking. Payment completion is required upon check in.

ACTIVITY BOOKINGS: Activity reservations are made on request and will be confirmed by Glentanner Park Centre when the booking is confirmed by the operator. When the booking is confirmed, your credit card will be charged for the full amount due for the activity.

All major credit cards are accepted, we do not accept AMEX. All credit card payment transactions for accommodation and activities will incur a 2% surcharge.

Cancellation Policy:

ACCOMMODATION BOOKINGS: We have a 24-hour cancellation and amendment policy. You are required to notify us before 2pm on the day prior to the date of your booking or you will not be refunded for the nights booked within this period. Please note that if you fail to arrive for your first night's stay, your room will be released for sale for the remainder of your nights booked. Credit card details are held secure.

ACTIVITY BOOKINGS: You are required to notify us at least 48 hours prior to the date of your activity, or you will not be refunded for the cost of the activity. Credit card details are held secure.

Child Policy:

- Children are considered to be 2 - 14 years (child prices)
- Infants are considered to be 0 - 2 years (free of charge)

Additional Information:

Pets may be allowed upon arrangement, they are not allowed into our cabins. Please note that strictly no animals are allowed in Aoraki Mount Cook National Park.

CREDIT CARD/BOND POLICY for ACCOMMODATION USERS ONLY

Credit Card/Bond: Entry to Glentanner Park is conditional upon supply of a Valid Credit Card, Drivers License or other form of I.D. & Vehicle Registration. If in the course of a guests stay during period of use, and/or any visitors of the guest to that unit and complex, should any unforeseen expenses become apparent the guests account/credit card will be charged an amount appropriate to the expense, at a rate determined by the management of Glentanner Park.

Fees chargeable to guest accounts may include, but are not limited to:
- Damage due to smoking in units - all units are non-smoking
- Unit degradation (such as vomit, bodily waste, general damage, pet/animal, excessive cleaning and rubbish)
- Stolen or damaged unit items
- Lost or stolen keys - $20 replacement.
- Any problem sufficient to result in the unit being withdrawn from its availability to be let ie: an un-saleable condition
thus extra daily room tariffs may be charged based on business demand at the discretion of the managers.

Keys: You agree to return the key for the unit at the time of your departure and agree to pay a charge of $20 for the replacement of keys should you lose or fail to return them. Upon leaving the motel unit for any event in any absence and for any period of time the responsibility to lock the unit is the guests. The unit must be left securely locked upon check out and the key(s) returned to reception or in the event of early departure, the key is to be left in the green mailbox outside reception.

Refusal of Entry: Managers reserve the right to refuse return guests who have caused damage or disruption to the units and its guests on a previous stay and/or guests who have been evicted from other accommodation providers for same reasons or criminal behaviour.

Self Contained Unit

These are fully self-contained motel style studio units with their own kitchen and bathroom facilities. Full linen is provided.

Bedding configuration: Relax and unwind on the queen sized bed or one single bed. This room also contains a fold out double couch so can sleep up to 5 people.

Standard Unit (Sleeps up to 7)

These are intimate bunkroom units. Affordable accommodation for someone travelling on their own, couples or for small groups and families

Linen is provided and cooking equipment is available.

Unlimited WIFI

Shared kitchen, bathroom and lounge facilities are available in the main facility block, including the use of our new BBQ pavilion.

Maximum occupancy: 7 person/s
Bedding configuration: Duo bunk (double on bottom and single on top) and 2 single bunk beds.

Standard Unit (Sleeps up to 10)

These are bunkroom units with single bunk beds. Ideal for families and groups. Toilet and handbasin in room so no need to venture to the main facility block in the middle of the night!

Linen is provided and cooking equipment is available.

Shared kitchen, bathroom and lounge facilities are available in the main facility block, including the use of our BBQ pavilion.
