Diane andTheo welcome you to Kurow Holiday Park, based in Kurow where the Waitaki River flows out into the Waitaki Valley. Kurow is situated on the banks of the Waitaki River and located near three hydro lakes; Waitaki, Aviemore and Benmore.
We are situated 70km inland from Oamaru at the western end of Kurow, on the banks of the Waitaki River, which is renowned for its excellent trout and salmon fishing. Enjoy our peaceful surroundings as dreams are made of this.

The road through to Omarama has wonderful lake views. This takes you on to Queenstown 221km away or Mount Cook 143km away.

We offer a range of holiday park accommodation from tent sites to power caravan sites to cabins, tourist flats and a lodge that sleeps up to 40 people.

We cater for domestic and overseas travellers, fishermen, holiday groups, family groups and school groups.

Property Facilities
We offer two Tourist Flats. One is a self contained studio unit with a queen bed, the other is a two roomed unit with a queen in one room and two singles in the other, also self contained.Linen provided
The Tourist Cabin has cooking facilities and is attached to the ablution block so share general facilities. A queen in one room and three singles in the other. Linen provided
Basic cabins with base sheet, pillow. We can supply linen for an extra charge. Each cabin has a toaster and jug.
The Lodge has three separate bunk rooms with different bed numbers

Room Facilities
There are two ablution blocks. One on the top level of the camp and another in the Lodge. A kitchen in the lodge and one attached to the top ablution block.
The Lodge features an open fire and pool table as well as television

Additional Information
Pets are welcome.Please note that pets are NOT permitted in the cabins ,Tourist Flats or any building. Dogs must be on a lead at all times and any droppings picked up
There is a safe swimming area with canoes and kayaks free to use. Children must wear life jackets and these are available at the office

Car Parking
We have parking facilities also a storage area for caravans and boats

Payment Policy
Final payment on arrival. Credit Card Details are collected at time of booking. These are not used unless requested at check in.
Please note that your room will be charged to the credit card you supply if you fail to cancel as per cancellation policy

Cancellation Policy
At least 1 week notice at any time . 2 weeks for Christmas /New Year period, Easter or any long weekend e.g: Labour weekend
10 % deposit is required to confirm booking and is non refundable for public holidays, long weekends and Christmas / New Year Period (20 Dec- 20 Jan).

Please note that as we cannot control the weather. All bookings are final and no refunds will be given due to bad weather.
Cancellation without 2 weeks written notice will incur a 50% charge of the stay
