Spacious 68 m2 air conditioned one bedroom apartment on the 3rd floor of the Voyager Wing with full size north facing deck. Full entertainers kitchen with gas hob and garbage crusher. Queen sized bedroom is located at the rear of the apartment away from any noise you may get from the plaza below and surrounding cafes. Ensuite with shower over bath, the laundry is totally separate and includes a second toilet for guests. Carpark in basement with storage if required. Apartment comes with unlimit internet access.

Apartment serviced weekly including full linen change. No smoking in apartment or on balcony please. All bookings restricted to three months prior to arrival.

Payment Policy:

To confirm reservations the applicable tariff shall be paid in advance at the time of booking. The booking is not confirmed until a credit card has been lodged for security and the rent received. Should the booking period be longer than one month, payments can be paid monthly in advance upon agreement between the two parties. Payments made by credit card are subject to a bank surcharge of 3%.
All prices are quoted are in NZ dollars.

Cancellation Policy:

Cancellation 30 days prior to arrival full refund.
Cancellation 7 days prior to arrival (2pm local time) 50% refund.
Cancellation less than 7 days in advance,no refund.
If you arrive and decide to leave early, the nights not used are not refundable.

Welcome to your apartment. We hope you enjoy the stunning views and the Viaduct Harbour Auckland’s Premium Location. Below is some information that you may require to help enhance your stay. We have also included some local information that you may find useful including menus from some of our favourite restaurants, most of these provide a takeout service in addition to dine in.


There is a convenience store and a doctor in the block of shops beside the main Custom St entrance to The Point.


Please make yourself known to Alf Smith, the on-site manager, soon after you arrive he is extremely helpful and as you would expect knows everything about how the building works. Please also hand into him the completed Registration form attached on the day of your arrival.

PARKING/KEYS: The entrance to the carpark is from Packenham St East, the last ramp on your right. Your parking space is #


316.


As you enter the garage from the lift area the park is to your left along the far outside wall. Your set of keys includes a swipe card which opens the garage door, the door to the lift in the basement and the gates on the street and the glass doors to the block your apartment is in (Voyager).


There are two keys one for the front door of Apartment 316 and the other is for the stairwell and the gymnasium which is at the left hand end of the swimming pool. The storage box inside the garage is lockable using the apartment key.


There is no visitor parking in the building. You will need the swipe key to get into the basement. Please leave apartment keys/swipes within the apartment for the collection of the cleaners at the end of your stay.


 


RUBBISH: There is a rubbish room just along from your apartment between the stairs and the lift. There are recycling bins and a


car wash bay in the lane that runs along the outside of the basement / garage complex. There is a bin in the Garage for Recycling


Paper/Cardboard.


 


MAIL: Mail boxes are as you enter the lift area from the basement, we do not lock it as only tenants in your block can access this area.


 


NOISE: Excessive noise contravenes residency rules and is unacceptable. You will find most of residences are occupied by the owners so the building is very safe, quiet and friendly.


 


Cleaning is done weekly on the anniversary of your arrival, the cleaners have their own access keys and will be there after 10am. Should your stay between 8-13 days, a housekeeping service will be scheduled halfway through your stay and on departure. Beds are remade with freshly laundered/ironed linen, towels etc are replenished. Both the bathroom(s) and kitchen are cleaned, but we do not wash any dirty dishes. The apartment is dusted and floors vacuumed and/or washed. Balconies and courtyards are swept/washed and windows where accessible are cleaned. Please remove your rubbish daily to the dedicated areas within the complex. Should you leave the apartment in an excessively dirty state you will be charged a departure surcharge. Please contact our office 24 hours prior to service should you wish to amend your housekeeping schedule. But should the cleaners arrive and for any reasons are turned away, a surcharge will apply unfortunately, as our cleaners are not based on site.


 


CHECKOUT TIME IS 10 AM, please ensure all the dishes have been done and put away in the cupboards, and take all your rubbish down to the bins in the garage.


 


SMOKING: Smoking is not permitted in the apartment or on the balcony. The fitted smoke detectors are very sensitive – they will sound alarms throughout the entire building and are directly linked to the Fire Department. False alarms by occupants may incur a call-out fee from the Fire Department, payable by the occupants. In the event of evacuation of building, DO NOT USE THE LIFTS and make your way to the pool area.


PETS: Pets are not permitted under any circumstances


 


SLIDING DOORS: Please close the balcony doors when you are not in the apartment, as a security measure and unexpected rain may cause damage


 


BEDDING: Extra bedding may be found in the white set of drawers in the hallway


 


APPLIANCE: These can be found in the double door buffet unit that acts as a divider to the kitchen.


 


MANUALS: Please do not discard or remove these manuals.


 


WASHING MACHINE: Laundry detergent must go directly into the machine with clothes. The indent is on the top. Top of the agitator is for fabric softener only. When using the Dryer please make sure you put the fan on and keep the door open for ventilation.


 


ELECTRICITY: Included within your tenancy are the following: Gas, water & Power: Gas, where connected for cooking/heating, to the value of $50 per month. Electricity, is included to the value of $120 per month & Water to the value of $100.00 per month


Any excess to the above amounts will be charged against your credit card or invoiced to the tenant. Stays for less than a month will have charges prorated to a daily amount and then shared over then calculated/charge according to the length of stay.


 


DRYER: Please empty the condensation reservoir (top left) after each drying cycle – this is very important as the reservoir has limited capacity. Please empty the lint collector (in door of dryer) after every cycle to prevent a fire hazard.


 


OVEN: The oven switch is located to the far right of the pantry and to the left of the hotplates


 


RANGEHOOD: Press front panel in. Then range hood filter will come out and range hood will start.


 


WASTE DISPOSAL: The switch is located on the wall to the left of the sink. Please put only organic matter in Waste disposal. Run the water at the same time.


 


MICROWAVE: Please use only recommended microwave ware when cooking in the microwave


 


RUBISH COMPACTOR: There is a rubbish compactor under the sink but rather than gathering rubbish which might attract ants etc we prefer to take rubbish to the rubbish room along the hall each day.


 


FRIDGE: The ‘on’ button is located behind the fridge, it is very hard to get to and we never turn it off.


 


INTERNET: Broadband internet provider is Vodafone – should you have any problems with the connection please ring their help desk on 0800 438 448 and quote the user name: The Point 316.
