Lighter Quay is a quiet complex on the eastern side of the Viaduct Harbour within walking distance to the cafes and restaurants but far enough way to be peaceful. The modern glass and concrete design allows the light to fill every apartment, a private waterway/marina in the centre is a pleasant surprise. Fantastic facilities that include an indoor heated swimming pool, spa pool, sauna and fully equipped gymnasium. Stroll around the Viaduct Basin or over the Te Wero Pedestrian Bridge for a drink at one of the many cafes and restaurants in the area or up to the new vibrant Wynyard Quarter & North Wharf areas. The Halsey Block is one of four blocks in the complex and borders Halsey Street, it is five stories high and the apartments either have views to the west of Wynyard Quarter to the east of the city skyline.

This apartment has unlimited Wi-Fi and is shared by the adjacent apartment
which the owner also owns. Please therefore ensure that the modem and the
netgear range extender are never turned off.

To enter the apartment building from 75 Halsey Street
The Lighter Quay complex is located on 75 – 85 Halsey Street. Your
entry is at 75 Halsey St. Place silkey against black pad to left of
main front door to unlock. Enter the foyer and take the stairs to
level 4 and turn left – the apartment is at the end of the hall in
the left hand corner.
Alternatively you can enter the complex via 77 Halsey Street using
your security swipe and take the lift to the 4th floor and go to
the end of the corridor on the left – the apartment is in the left
hand corner.
To access your apartment from this car park area
The lift is in the area labelled “H” which is in the basement
beyond the rubbish bins. At level 4, exit lift and turn left and
walk to the very end of the hall. Alternatively, stair access is
towards far end of car park.
Notes
Rubbish bins are located in the car park by the door to the stairs
and the lift.
It is recommended that dishwasher powder be used in the Dishdrawer.
Washing machine is a top loader, to load the powder first remove
the fabric conditioner holder from the top of the agitator and pour
powder down the shute. Replace the holder.
Please leave on all appliance switches that are on the wall behind
the microwave and above the hob.
NO SMOKING inside the apartment or on the balcony please – Lighter
Quay is a smoke free complex.
Weekly Servicing is done on the anniversary of the day of your
arrival, the cleaners have their own access keys and will be there
after 10am. Beds are remade with freshly laundered/ironed linen,
towels etc are replenished. The bathroom is cleaned and the kitchen
is given a wipe down. The apartment is dusted and floors vacuumed
and/or washed. The balcony is swept/washed and windows where
accessible are cleaned. We do not wash your dishes as all
apartments have dishwashers for this purpose. Please remove your
rubbish daily to the dedicated areas within the complex. Should you
leave the apartment in an excessively dirty state you will be
charged a departure surcharge.
Please note that the housekeeping teams are not based on site and
should you turn them away when they arrive, a return surcharge of
$65 will then apply. However if you do wish to amend your
housekeeping day please send us an email the day before and we will
confirm the change.
CHECKOUT TIME IS 10 AM, please ensure all the dishes have been done
and put away in the cupboards, and take all your rubbish down to
the bins in the garage.
Please be aware that Lighter Quay is a residential complex and
respect your neighbours with regard to noise. Should the security
guard be called to your apartment due to a complaint then you will
be liable for this call out fee. We also have the right to evict
due to breaking of body corp rules.
At check-out leave keys in the apartment. Ensure the door lock is
turned to horizontal position (or door will not lock behind you).
If keys are not left in the apartment we may have to charge $150 to
replace them.
Electricity
Included within your tenancy are the following: Gas, water & Power:
Gas, where connected for cooking/heating, to the value of $50 per month.
Electricity, to the value of $120 per month. Water to the value of $100.00
per month
Any excess to the above amounts will be charged against your credit card or
invoiced to the tenant. Stays for less than a month will have charges
prorated to a daily amount and then shared over then calculated/charge
according to the length of stay.
Fire Evacuation Plan
Please ensure that you know where the exit stairs are in relation to your
