Lighter Quay - Halsey Block
Lighter Quay is a quiet complex on the eastern side of the Viaduct Harbour within walking distance to the cafes and restaurants but far enough way to be peaceful. The modern glass and concrete design allows the light to fill every apartment, a private waterway/marina in the centre is a pleasant surprise. Fantastic facilities that include an indoor heated swimming pool, spa pool, sauna and fully equipped gymnasium. Stroll around the Viaduct Basin or over the Te Wero Pedestrian Bridge for a drink at one of the many cafes and restaurants in the area or up to the new vibrant Wynyard Quarter & North Wharf areas. The five-level Halsey Block is one of four blocks in the complex and borders Halsey Street.
Apartment 206H
This 40 m2 fully furnished apartment is located on the 2nd floor of the Halsey Block and has a king bed in the bedroom which can be split into twins on request for an additional fee. The open plan living area opens onto a balcony facing west semi shaded by a stunning pohutukawa tree. The well equipped kitchen has an island bench top which also serves as a table to maximise the space. There is a 43" smart TV with free unlimited wifi and Sonos speaker system. Full laundry facilities in a cupboard in the kitchen and a large shower in the bathroom.
Apartment serviced weekly including full linen change. No smoking in the apartment or on balcony please, entire complex is smoke-free. All bookings restricted to three months prior to arrival. Parking is not provided with this apartment.

To enter the apartment building from Halsey Street
Place round swipe against black reader to left of main front door
to unlock. Take the stairs to level 2 or lift, turn left and go
through the door to Apartment 206.
The Rubbish Room is located in the garage. Use lift and go to
basement floor. Rubbish area is located by the entrance to the
carpark.
TV – Panasonic Smart TV is installed on the wall. Use the TV remote
to navigate TV channels and feel free to use the Netflix app on the
TV (Use your own Netflix account)
Vodafone is your internet provider, should you have trouble with
your connection please call 0800 438 448 and quote your user name
which is “LighterQuayHalsey206” and they should be able to help
you.
It is recommended that dishwasher powder be used in the Dishdrawer.
Please wash dishes before check-out.
Cleaning is done weekly on the anniversary of your arrival, the
cleaners have their own access keys and will be there after 10am.
Should you stay between 8-13 days, a housekeeping service will be
scheduled halfway through your stay and on departure. Beds are
remade with freshly laundered/ironed linen, towels etc are
replenished. Both the bathroom(s) and kitchen are cleaned, but we
do not wash any dirty dishes. The apartment is dusted and floors
vacuumed and/or washed. Balconies and courtyards are swept/washed
and windows where accessible are cleaned. Please remove your
rubbish daily to the dedicated areas within the complex. Should you
leave the apartment in an excessively dirty state you will be
charged a departure surcharge. Please note that the housekeeping
teams are not based on site and should you turn them away when they
arrive, a return surcharge of $65 will then apply. However if you
do wish to amend your housekeeping day please send us an email the
day before and we will confirm the change.
CHECKOUT TIME IS 10 AM, please ensure all the dishes have been done
and put away in the cupboards, and take all your rubbish down to
the bins in the garage.
NO SMOKING inside the apartment please.
Please be aware that Lighter Quay is a residential complex and
respect your neighbours with regard to noise. Should the security
guard be called to your apartment due to a complaint then you will
be liable for this call out fee. We also have the right to evict
due to breaking of body corp rules.
At check-out leave keys in the apartment. Ensure the door lock is
turned to horizontal position (or door will not lock behind you).
If keys are not left in the apartment we will charge a $150 fine.
Electricity
Included within your tenancy are the following: Gas, water & Power:
Electricity, to the value of $120 per month for Two bedroom. Water to the
value of $100.00 per month. Any excess to the above amounts will be charged
against your credit card or invoiced to the tenant. Stays for less than a
month will have charges prorated to a daily amount and then shared over
then calculated/charge according to the length of stay.

Please ensure that you know where the exit stairs are in relation to your
