Access
Access to the House. Front door key – see attached information re the door
lock.

depending if you are arriving or leaving)
Car Parks
Off street car parking in the driveway outside the left hand garage. Guest
parking on the street.

Power, Heating & Hot Water
The hot water supply and under floor heating is electric and unlimited;
there is no need to turn on or off.
Radiant heaters are available in two of the bedroom closets.
The wall-mounted heat pump will both cool and heat the family room at the
rear of the house. There is gas heating in the kitchen and in the formal
lounge
Please ensure all appliances and lights are turned off on your departure.
The refrigerator power should be left on at all times. Included within your
tenancy are the following: Gas, water & Power: Gas, where connected for
cooking/heating, to the value of $50 per month. Electricity, to the value
of $120 per month for Studio/One/Two bedrooms. Water to the value of
$100.00 per month. Any excess to the above amounts will be charged against
your credit card or invoiced to the tenant. Stays for less than a month
will have charges prorated to a daily amount and then shared over then
calculated/charge according to the length of stay.
Cleaning, Recycling & Waste Disposal
Recycling of plastics, cardboard, glass and tinned items is encouraged.
There is a timetable for the two-weekly collection (every second Tuesday)
of the recycle bin (blue lid) on the fridge.
A green wheelie bin (with a red lid) is located in the driveway for weekly
(together with normal household rubbish by Tuesday) disposal of general
waste.
Please empty the refrigerator & freezer completely on departure and
ensure all dishes have been washed and put away.
Please ensure all rubbish/waste is disposed of on your departure.
Servicing
Weekly Servicing is done on the anniversary of the day of your
arrival, the cleaners have their own access keys and will be there
after 10am. Beds are remade with freshly laundered/ironed linen,
towels etc are replenished. The bathroom is cleaned and the kitchen
is given a wipe down. The apartment is dusted and floors vacuumed
and/or washed. The balcony is swept/washed and windows where
accessible are cleaned. We do not wash your dishes as all
apartments have dishwashers for this purpose. Please remove your
rubbish daily to the dedicated areas within the complex. Should you
leave the apartment in an excessively dirty state you will be
charged a departure surcharge.
Please note that the housekeeping teams are not based on site and
should you turn them away when they arrive, a return surcharge of
$65 will then apply. However if you do wish to amend your
housekeeping day please send us an email the day before and we will
confirm the change.
CHECKOUT TIME IS 10 AM.
Please leave both sets of keys the letterbox for 9a in an envelope, or
return them to Quinovic Viaduct, 10 Hobson Street, Auckland during working
hours. The cleaner has a key to gain access for cleaning.
Kitchen Facilities
Operating manuals for the oven, cooking hob and microwave in the kitchen
drawers.
A dishwasher operating manual is kept in the kitchen drawers. Standard
cycle # - Eco Wash
Laundry
Washing Machine & Dryer. Take care to empty the filter at the back of
the dryer after each use. If the washing machine load becomes unbalanced
you will need to rebalance the load for the machine to continue and
complete its cycle

The villa is equipped with SKY TV, Basic.
Transport
The nearest bus stop is in Dominion Road, 2 minutes walk away. The Dominion
Road bus (B-line) goes into the City Centre via Symonds Street and then
down Wellesley St. to Britomart Transport Centre and Ferries. Downtown
Auckland is 10-20 minutes away on the Dominion Road Bus or the Mt Eden Road
Bus (B-line) which runs every 15 minutes.
Taxis
Phone taxi for door to door service: Auckland Co-op, phone 300 3000. You
might be lucky to stop a taxi on Dominion Rd.
Schools and Parks
Balmoral Primary and Intermediate – 2 minutes away
Child-care Centre in Shackleton Road, Play-centre at Potter`s Park opposite
side of Dominion Rd, also 2 minutes away.
Next grammar school is Mt. Albert Grammar School.
Mt Eden Village
Mt Eden is on e of Auckland’s older inner suburbs and the Village contains
cafés, restaurants, bookshops, an excellent fish-shop, fruitier, butcher,
and delicatessen and a diversity of small stores. Enjoy the special
unhurried village character of Mt Eden’s shopping center, 8 minutes away.
There is also a major supermarket, Foodtown at Eden Quarter shopping-centre
north on Dominion Road and a high quality Nosh supermarket about a ½
kilometer north along Dominion Road.

Also in proximity is the world famous Eden Park Stadium hosting regularly
national and international rugby and cricket games.
For those who want to have more choice then just Mt. Eden, there is also
the nearby Kingsland Village, home of a selection of cafes, restaurants and
pubs.
Fine Dining: Mt. Eden and it surrounds offer a lot of fine restaurants.
Among these are - the five star “Meredith”, Dominion Rd, famous for its
degustation menu or - “Borman” which is regularly frequented by locals and
situated corner Mt. Eden Rd / Kingsview Rd in Mt. Eden. Restaurants and
cafes of all kind can be also found in Mt. Eden and Kingsland.

Mt Eden is well situated for families with children to explore the
attractions on offer in Auckland;
