For your information, please note the following instructions:
To locate your car park
From Quay Street turn right into “The Strand ”. Take the first right into
“Sudbury Terrace”. Your carpark is number 7.
To enter the apartment building
Swipe Card is required for access to the car park, gym/pool, tennis
court facility and main entrance doors.
To access your apartment from this car park area
Walk back towards garage doors to corner, swipe card to enter foyer
and take lift up to Level 8. Apartment 801 is the first apartment
as you exit the elevator.
Special Instructions
Your Rubbish needs to be bagged and put down the chute which is
located in the Switch room to the left of the elevator (on Level 6)
under the Exit sign.
Weekly Servicing is done on the anniversary of the day of your
arrival, the cleaners have their own access keys and will be there
after 10am. Beds are remade with freshly laundered/ironed linen,
towels etc are replenished. The bathroom is cleaned and the kitchen
is given a wipe down. The apartment is dusted and floors vacuumed
and/or washed. The balcony is swept/washed and windows where
accessible are cleaned. We do not wash your dishes as all
apartments have dishwashers for this purpose. Please remove your
rubbish daily to the dedicated areas within the complex. Should you
leave the apartment in an excessively dirty state you will be
charged a departure surcharge.
Please note that the housekeeping teams are not based on site and
should you turn them away when they arrive, a return surcharge of
$65 will then apply. However if you do wish to amend your
housekeeping day please send us an email the day before and we will
confirm the change.
CHECKOUT TIME IS 10 AM, please ensure all the dishes have been done
and put away in the cupboards, and take all your rubbish down to
the bins in the garage.
Instructions on how to use the appliances are in the apt.
Please turn the Air-Conditioning OFF when you go out and also when
you vacate the apartment on your last day.
To view your visitors at the Front doors, turn the TV on and use
Channel 7.
To let visitors in when they call you on the apartment phone from
downstairs, press 9 on the phone.
The gym, pools (2), spa (2) and sauna are located on the ground
level (same level as your Carpark. Use of these is available from
6am -10pm.
NO SMOKING INSIDE APARTMENT/BALCONY OR COMPLEX PLEASE
NO PETS OF ANY TYPE IN COMPLEX PLEASE
It is recommended that dishwasher powder be used in the Dishdrawer.
Please leave all swipe cards and keys on kitchen bench when
vacating, these will be picked up by our cleaners
The resident in the apartment is liable for any actions of their
guests. Guests must be accompanied at all times by a resident when
using complex recreational facilities.
Noise: This apartment is located in a residential complex, please
respect your neighbours by complying with the body cop rules and
limiting noise after 11pm.
Fire Evacuation Plan
Please ensure that you know where the exit stairs are in relation to your
apartment. Ambulance/Fire/Police : DIAL 111
False fire alarm callouts
Please ensure you and your guests do not accidently or deliberately set off
fire alarms when there is no fire. There is a fee payable to the Fire
Service for this and a charge of approximately $1400 + admin fee will be
payable by the resident if they or their guest activate the alarm causing a
false fire alarm call out.
Apartment Alarm
If your apartment has smoke or steam alarm activation and the alarm has
gone off related to say smoke related to cooking and there is no fire
danger, do not open the door to the corridor as this will set off the
alarms in the whole building and will bring the Fire Service at
approximately $1400 cost to you. Open your windows or balcony slider to
allow the apartment to clear. Locate the nearest smoke sensor to the smoke
or steam and quickly wave a towel under it to clear the smoke or steam.
This should stop the alarm.
Electricity
Included within your tenancy are the following: Gas, water & Power:
Gas, where connected for cooking/heating, to the value of $50 per month.
Electricity, to the value of $150 per month for one bedroom. Water to the
value of $100.00 per month. Any excess to the above amounts will be charged
against your credit card or invoiced to the tenant. Stays for less than a
month will have charges prorated to a daily amount and then shared over
then calculated/charge according to the length of stay.
