It is built on the site of old Magistrate Court and still has the façade of the original building. There is a 22 metre indoor heated pool and spa pool on the 8th floor adjacent to a modern gym. There is car parking in the basement and in nearby public car park buildings.
The king bedroom looks out over the beautiful Albert park. A sliding partition door sections off the bedroom from the lounge and dining area which then runs through to the fully equipped kitchen and laundry. this 48sqm apartment has TV in both the living area and bedroom, hush glass protects you from the street noise below and it is airconditioned for comfort all year round.The spacious marble lined bathroom contains both a shower and a bath.
Included in the advertised tariff is the hotel feed unlimited high speed wireless internet. There is a possibility of a carpark in the building subject to availability at an additional fee.

Once logged in you will have internet access for up to 6 devices –
Public access to the building is via the main entry of the Metropolis
Residences / Hotel (old Magistrates Courthouse building) on Kitchener
Street. There is a Resident Only Lobby on Courthouse Lane – this is also
where you gain entrance to the carpark – you will need to use your Swipe
card to open the door of the building.
Take lift and use swipe card in lift to access level 12. Look for
the signs direction to 1210 the apartment is on the left. You use
your Key Swipe in the door of the apartment to gain entry. Once the
light turns green the door is ready to be opened.
If you have a problem with the door swipe please ask Reception to
check the swipe and re programme if necessary.
Car park: Level 3 Car park 24
The carpark entrance is in Courthouse Lane – use your apartment
swipe to enter, go up to Level 3, (first level you arrive at) No
24, on the right (in the middle). Go to the lobby area and use the
swipe to go to the floor of your apartment.
When you depart please remove the carpark from the carpark (you
need to use the swipe to exit the carpark) then return to the
apartment and leave the keys inside the apartment and take the lift
to the Hotel Level (you cannot access the Residences Lobby without

Swimming pool and gym located on level 8 - access using the swipe
Weekly Servicing is done on the anniversary of the day of your
arrival, the cleaners have their own access keys and will be there
after 10am. Beds are remade with freshly laundered/ironed linen,
towels etc are replenished. The bathroom is cleaned and the kitchen
is given a wipe down. The apartment is dusted and floors vacuumed
and/or washed. The balcony is swept/washed and windows where
accessible are cleaned. We do not wash your dishes as all
apartments have dishwashers for this purpose. Please remove your
rubbish daily to the dedicated areas within the complex. Should you
leave the apartment in an excessively dirty state you will be
charged a departure surcharge.
Please note that the housekeeping teams are not based on site and
should you turn them away when they arrive, a return surcharge of
$65 will then apply. However if you do wish to amend your
housekeeping day please send us an email the day before and we will
confirm the change.
CHECKOUT TIME IS 10 AM, please ensure all the dishes have been done
and put away in the cupboards, and take all your rubbish to the

of the car park before you leave your keys in the apartment. Please
