Lighter Quay Stratis
Lighter Quay is a quiet complex on the eastern side of the Viaduct Harbour within walking distance to the cafes and restaurants on North Wharf in the Wynyard Quarter or across Te Wero Bridge to the Eastern Marina area but far enough way to be peaceful. The modern glass and concrete design allows the light to fill every apartment, a private waterway/marina in the centre is a pleasant surprise. Fantastic facilities which include an indoor heated swimming pool, spa pool, sauna and fully equipped gymnasium. The Stratis Block is one of four blocks in the complex, it is on the eastern side with views across the Viaduct Marina and back into the internal waterway.
Apartment 610S
Located on the top floor this air conditioned 80 sqm apartment has been newly refurbished to a high standard to suit both families or three couples. Two double bedrooms with one bathroom the apartment has a large living area facing east and a second living area on the western side of the apartment. The balcony on the eastern side which catches the morning sun with views over the Viaduct Harbour. Both bedrooms have splittable queen beds. There is a 55" TV, My SKY HDi, stereo, bluray DVDand an unlimited wifi package. Sky Sport/Movies not included but can be added on request. Secure carpark downstairs plus the option of a second, subject to availability. Apartment serviced weekly including full linen change. No smoking in apartment or on balcony please, entire complex is smokefree. All bookings restricted to three months prior to arrival.

Car Park Number: Car park S12 (please note; if you park in the wrong car
park you will be towed at your expenses) Height restriction in the garage
is 2.1 metres.
To enter the apartment building from Halsey Street
Place round swipe against black pad to left of main front gate to
unlock. Walk across the carpark area to the Stratis building in
front of you. The entrance is on your right down the stairs beside
the waterway. Take the second lift on your left to level 6, (you
will need the silkey to use the lift) turn right and your apartment
610 is the apartment at the end.
To locate your car park
From Fanshawe St end of Halsey St, drive along Halsey St, turn
right through double wooden doors (to the left of the signage that
says “79 – 89”). Drive down the ramp. Place round swipe against
black pad on your right from a post hanging from the ceiling to
unlock the iron grille. Drive straight to the far wall then turn
right. Your carpark S12 is on the left.
Exit the carpark by the exit doors opposite your carpark, turn
right. Take the lift to your apartment on 6th floor. Remember you
will need your silkey to call the lift. If your key does not work
you are standing at the wrong lift.
General Information
There is a plastic lidded bucket under the kitchen sink, please use
this for your kitchen rubbish (line with a bag) and empty it daily
down the rubbish chute which is located by the door to the
stairs/lift outside your front door to the left. For recycling
please take down to the rubbish room in the basement opposite your
carpark.
Visitors: If they use the intercom system at the podium car
entrance and dial 1/610 – you can then buzz them through using your
intercom phone. You will need to meet them at the bottom of the
lift though. Limited car parking on the podium but please follow
the parking regulations clearly displayed or their car could towed.
Internet Installation – please do NOT reconfigure this connection
or move to another room. If there is a fault please first reboot by
disconnecting from the wall and leaving for 5 minutes then
reconnect. If there is still a problem contact the provider,
Vodafone, via their help desk 0800 438 448 and quote your user
name: Lighter Quay Stratis 610. Tampering with the equipment
connection itself could result in a call out fee from the provider.
There is an ethernet cable in the top drawer of the side board
should you wish to connect with this.
To turn TV on use red on/off button on the TV remote, then use the
AV button on top right to bring up the input list – select HDMI 1
to move to SKY. Use the sky remote to for volume and channels. The
SKY decoder is a My Sky which means that you can record and live
pause. This TV is smart and will go into hibernate if you haven’t
used the remotes for a while – if when you turn it on and you have
a divided screen push the main select button on the TV remote.
The extra linen/duvets for the chair beds in the conservatory and
when the beds are split into twins are stored in the wickers
baskets located in conservatory. Please do not use these without
permission from our office.
It is recommended that dishwasher powder be used in the dish
drawer. Please wash dishes before checkout.
NO SMOKING inside the apartment please, this includes the
conservatory and balcony. Breaches of this condition may result in
a spring-cleaning charge of up to $2000 per occurrence. Any stains
made on carpets or furniture during a tenancy will be
professionally cleaned at the end of the tenancy at the tenant’s
cost.
Cleaning: Your apartment is serviced weekly on the anniversary of
the day you arrived. The cleaners will arrive after 10am and have
their own key, servicing includes a full linen/towel change,
kitchen & bathroom cleaning, vacuum/polishing throughout. It
does not include your kitchen dishes. Please dispose of your
rubbish in preparation of their arrival.
CHECKOUT TIME IS 10 AM. If you require a later checkout please
contact us before the departure day to see if this is possible, but
if the cleaners arrive and you are still in residence there is an
automatic $45 late checkout surcharge
At check-out leave keys in the apartment. Ensure the door lock is
turned to horizontal position (or door will not lock behind you).
You will need the keys to access the carpark but not to leave it.
If all the keys issued to you are not left in the apartment there
is a $150 recovery/replacement fee per set.

Electricity
Included within your tenancy are the following: Gas, water & Power:
Gas, where connected for cooking/heating, to the value of $50 per month.
Electricity, to the value of $200.00 per month. Water to the value of
$100.00 per month.
Any excess to the above amounts will be charged against your credit card or
invoiced to the tenant. Stays for less than a month will have charges
prorated to a daily amount and then shared over then calculated/charge
according to the length of stay.
