Lighter Quay Stratis
Lighter Quay is a quiet complex on the eastern side of the Viaduct Harbour within walking distance to the cafes and restaurants but far enough way to be peaceful. The modern glass and concrete design allows the light to fill every apartment, a private waterway/marina in the centre is a pleasant surprise. Fantastic facilities that include an indoor heated swimming pool, spa pool, sauna and fully equipped gymnasium. Stroll around the Viaduct Basin or over the Te Wero Pedestrian Bridge for a drink at one of the many cafes and restaurants in the area or up to the new vibrant Wynyard Quarter & North Wharf areas. The Stratis Block is one of four blocks in the complex, it is on the eastern side with views across the Viaduct Marina and the internal waterway.

This 100sqm 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom furnished apartment on the 5th floor has an open plan living area with two conservatories to catch both the morning and afternoon sun. Featuring a fully equipped kitchen and laundry, spacious lounge and dining & work areas, this apartment has it all. A generous Wi-fi package and MY SKY HDi included. The master bedroom has a king bed which can split into twins if required, there are twins in the second bedroom which can be made up as a king on request and a sofa bed in the lounge. Secured underground carpark within the building included.

Apartment serviced weekly including full linen change. No smoking in apartment or on balcony please, entire complex is smokefree. All bookings restricted to three months prior to arrival.

Payment Policy:

To confirm reservations the applicable tariff shall be paid in advance at the time of booking. The booking is not confirmed until a credit card has been lodged for security and the rent received. Should the booking period be longer than one month, payments can be paid monthly in advance upon agreement between the two parties. Payments made by credit card are subject to a bank surcharge of 3%.
All prices are quoted are in NZ dollars.

Cancellation Policy:

Cancellation 30 days prior to arrival full refund.
Cancellation 7 days prior to arrival (2pm local time) 50% refund.
Cancellation less than 7 days in advance,no refund.
If you arrive and decide to leave early, the nights not used are not refundable.

To locate your apartment

The Lighter Quay complex is located on 79 – 89 Halsey Street. To locate
your apartment walk up the steps to the left off the main driveway and
use your swipe to open the gate walk across the square past the lock.
Take the white stairs down to the walkway, turn right, and go along to
the next lift on your left. Use your grey swipe against the grey pad on
the right of the lift and press the button on the lift. Your apartment
is located on the 5th floor. Turn right out of the lift; your apartment
is on the right at the end of the hall.

To locate your car park

Access is from Halsey Street. Drive down the ramp on the left of the
main entrance and place the round grey swipe on the security reader to
open the iron grille. Drive to the end and turn right, your carpark is
in this block.

To access your apartment from the car park area

Turn right once you have got out of the car and go through the glass
doors – use the green exit button to open the door, your lift is on the
right – use swipe card against the grey pad to press the button on the
lift to take you to Level 5. (if the swipe does not call the lift then
you are standing at the wrong lift). When you have reached the floor
turn right the apartment is at the end of hall.

Notes

Rubbish bins are located in the car park by the door to the stairs
and the lift. There is also a shute off the hall on the same level
as the apartment - this is for bagged rubbish only - please do not
put bottles or other recycling items down this shute, they must be
put in the bins on the carpark level .

TV - Watch all TV channels through Sky. Use the Input button and
select HDMI1 to watch all channels through Sky. This is a My Sky
unit which means you can record and live pause, rewind using the
sky remote.

It is recommended that dishwasher powder be used in the Dishdrawer
– do not under any circumstances use dish washing LIQUID.

Please leave on all appliance switches that are on the wall behind
the microwave and above the hob.NO SMOKING inside the apartment
please or within the complex.

At check-out, remove carpark from carpark and then leave keys
inside the apartment. Ensure the door lock is turned to horizontal
position (or door will not lock behind you). If keys are not left
in the apartment we will charge a $150 recovery/replacement fee.
Please clean all your dishes and remove them from the dishwasher.
Take all your rubbish to the bins in the garage.

CHECKOUT TIME IS 10 AM - please note that should you still be in
the apartment when the cleaners arrive you will be charged a late
check out surcharge.

Electricity

Included within your tenancy are the following: Gas, water & Power:
Gas, where connected for cooking/heating, to the value of $50 per month.
Electricity is included to the value of $150 per month. Any excess to the
above amounts will be charged against your credit card or invoiced to the
tenant. Stays for less than a month will have charges prorated to a daily
amount and then shared over then calculated/charge according to the length
of stay.

Fire Evacuation Plan

Please ensure that you know where the exit stairs are in relation to your
apartment. Ambulance/Fire/Police: DIAL 111
