Princes Wharf
This complex was developed in the late 1990's on the original 1924 commercial wharf, the six shipping sheds have been redesigned and built to look like a liner. Shed 23 is on the western side with views across to the National Maritime Museum & Marina, the Harbour Bridge and the upper Waitemata Harbour. The wharf is still a working wharf and although the overseas cruise terminal was relocated to Queens Wharf in 2013, occasionally a cruise liner still berths on the eastern side of Princes Wharf. The western side is still used by smaller vessels such as the training yacht The Spirit of New Zealand. The wharf is now home to the Hilton Hotel, the Princes Wharf Apartments, some commercial offices and a variety of cafes and restaurants.
Apartment 71 Shed 23
Marine inspired three bedroom 134 m2 apartment in Shed 23 on Princes Wharf, located on the top two floors of the building with large sliding doors opening off the living area out on to the west facing deck. Access is from the 5th floor, which houses two double bedrooms, both can be made up as twins or zipped together to make a king bed. There is a large bathroom on this level with both shower and bath and the laundry. Go up the stairs and take in the stunning view of the upper harbour, the master bedroom and ensuite get the morning sun on this level while the kitchen, dining and lounge open onto the west facing balcony. SKY TV and high speed WiFi, heat pump upstairs and electric heating downstairs. Secure covered carpark included.
Apartment serviced weekly including full linen change. No smoking in apartment or on balcony please. All bookings restricted to three months prior to arrival.

Payment Policy:
To confirm reservations the applicable tariff shall be paid in advance at the time of booking. The booking is not confirmed until a credit card has been lodged for security and the rent received. Should the booking period be longer than one month, payments can be paid monthly in advance upon agreement between the two parties. Payments made by credit card are subject to a bank surcharge of 3%.
All prices are quoted are in NZ dollars.
Cancellation Policy:
Cancellation 30 days prior to arrival full refund.
Cancellation 7 days prior to arrival (2pm local time) 50% refund.
Cancellation less than 7 days in advance,no refund.
If you arrive and decide to leave early, the nights not used are not refundable.

For your information, please note the following instructions:
To Enter the Carpark (Height restriction 2m)
- Enter the carpark ramp via Shed 23 (second Shed on left just by the Parking Booth for Wilson Car parking). Hold your Wilsons Access Card (PINK TAG) for 3 seconds against the reader on the right hand wall before the grille.
- Proceed up both ramps to the 3rd floor; there is a sharp turn to the left at the top of the second ramp. Follow the car park along until you reach parking bay 21 (it is on the right) in Shed 23 (colour code blue).
- To leave the car park follow signs to Exit in Shed 20 (colour code yellow) hold your car park swipe over the reader on the right hand wall before the grille at the bottom on the ramp.
- NOTE: Your car park swipe records your vehicle in and out – if you tailgate another vehicle in or out of the building without swiping your card you will not be able to leave or re-enter the car park building again until the access card is programmed as the system will not have recorded your movements.
- Should you have any problems please contact:
Wilsons Car parking on 0800 4 PARKING or 0800 688 853, they have the ability to open the grilles automatically.
- Please note the carpark access card is programmed for the carpark and the exterior lifts on the road bridges between the Sheds on Level 2+ 3. It does not open the doors to the Shed itself on the carpark levels.
- To enter the Apartment building from the car park, go to the lift well in the center of the Shed (labelled Exit) and use your white building swipe to open the door. Take the lift to Level 5, go through the fire doors turn right and your apartment is No. 71 on the right
Pedestrian Access
- For pedestrian access to the apartment go to Shed 23 (second on the left on the wharf) use your white Shed card to gain access (swipe over reader beside the door), take lift to Level 5, use the white card to gain access to the corridor, turn right and the apartment is on the right No. 71.
- NO SMOKING INSIDE THE APARTMENT OR ON THE BALCONY PLEASE.
- Sky is also available on the AV channel on the TV.
- Ensure all dishes have been washed and all your rubbish has been taken down to the Rubbish Room on Level 3.
- This is a private apartment – please respect it as your would your own home, any additional cleaning will be on top of our standard servicing, you will also be liable for any broken items.
- Weekly Servicingis done on the anniversary of the day of your arrival, the cleaners have their own access keys and will be there after 10am. Beds are remade with freshly laundered/ironed linen, towels etc are replenished. The bathroom is cleaned and the kitchen is given a wipe down. The apartment is dusted and floors vacuumed and/or washed. The balcony is swept/washed and windows where accessible are cleaned. We do not wash your dishes as all apartments have dishwashers for this purpose. Please remove your rubbish daily to the dedicated areas within the complex. Should you leave the apartment in an excessively dirty state you will be charged a departure surcharge.
CHECKOUT INFORAMTION
- CHECKOUT TIME IS 10 AM.
- PLEASE LEAVE ALL KEYS AND SWIPES ON THE KITCHEN BENCH WITHIN THE APARTMENT ON YOUR DATE OF DEPARTURE– please make sure you include the car park swipe as well (you will need to take your car out of the car park and return to the apartment by foot via the main door/lift on the Ground Floor)
- Please ensure the umbrella on the deck is taken down every night or if high winds are forecast.
- Please remove all rubbish from the apartment before you leave. The rubbish bins and recycling are on the 3rd floor next to the lift.
- Please note that the housekeeping teams are not based on site and should you turn them away when they arrive, a return surcharge of $65 will then apply. However if you do wish to amend your housekeeping day please send us an email the day before and we will confirm the change.
- For visitors they need to press 2371# on the intercom outside - receive call on intercom, Press 9 (opens outside door and activates lift). Meet at level 5 corridor doors.
Noise Noise is often a common problem when living in central city apartments. Generally from 11pm—7am noise should be at a reasonable level. If you have problems with anyone making noise between these times please contact security immediately. Once a complaint is received, security will issue a first warning to the tenant/resident of where the noise is coming from. If the noise continues, call our security team again. Noise control will be called if the first warning is being ignored. Security is onsite 24/7 and operates from the management office located on ground floor of Shed 23. Electricity Included within your tenancy are the following: Gas, water & Power: Gas, where connected for cooking/heating, to the value of $50 per month. Electricity, to the value of $200.00 per month and Water to the value of $100.00 per month. Any excess to the above amounts will be charged against your credit card or invoiced to the tenant. Stays for less than a month will have charges pro-rated to a daily amount and then shared over then calculated/charge according to the length of stay.
Shops/Provisions There is a Dairy directly opposite on the end of Shed 22 which sells the basics and at the entrance to prince’s wharf is a 24 hour Dairy & Subway. Across the road in Lower Albert Street is Burrows, this is a good Deli and bakery which also leads the Westfield Mall and food court.
Please make sure that you lock the door and take your swipe cards with you at all times, as you will need them to re-enter the building and hall way.
