Metropolis Residences
Located in the heart of Auckland's shopping and entertainment area of the CBD the Metropolis is one of the city's tallest buildings offering amazing views of the harbour, city and parks. It is built on the site of old Magistrate Court and still has the façade of the original building. There is a 22 metre indoor heated pool and spa pool on the 8th floor adjacent to a modern gym. There is car parking in the basement and in nearby public car park buildings.

Apartment 3101
Located on the 31st floor, this 205 m2 3 bedroom apartment is absolutely stunning with 270 degree views of city and harbour. The living area is on the western side of the apartment and has a dining table which seats eight, a formal living area, a casual area for TV viewing and work desk. There is a full entertainers kitchen and laundry. The master bedroom wing has a king bed a second TV, and a balcony with views to the east of the harbour, a large walk in wardrobe and a luxury marble bathroom with both shower and bath. The other two bedrooms have a queen and double beds with views of the city and share a full bathroom. The apartment has WiFi and an allocated carpark in the building plus the possibility of another subject to availability for an additional fee.

Apartment serviced weekly including full linen change. No smoking in apartment or on balcony please. All bookings restricted to three months prior to arrival. Carpark available with the apartment.

Payment Policy:

To confirm reservations the applicable tariff shall be paid in advance at the time of booking. The booking is not confirmed until a credit card has been lodged for security and the rent received. Should the booking period be longer than one month, payments can be paid monthly in advance upon agreement between the two parties. Payments made by credit card are subject to a bank surcharge of 3%.
All prices are quoted are in NZ dollars.

Cancellation Policy:

Cancellation 30 days prior to arrival full refund.
Cancellation 7 days prior to arrival (2pm local time) 50% refund.
Cancellation less than 7 days in advance,no refund.
If you arrive and decide to leave early, the nights not used are not refundable.

Carpark:

Orientation:
The carpark entrance is via the Metropolis Residence on 1 Courthouse Lane.
Use your white swipe card and swipe it on the grey pad to open the garage.
Your carpark can be found on level 5A. Your carpark number is 102. Take the
lift and use swipe card in lift to access level 31. Look for the signs
direction to 3101 the apartment is at the end of the corridor. Use your key
in the door of the apartment to gain entry.



Swipes:
If you have a problem with the door swipe please ask hotel reception to
check the swipe and reprogram if necessary. Their contact number is: (0)9
300 88 00. Please don’t hold swipe card near cell phone - this demagnetises
it.



Mail room:
To access the mailbox room in the lobby to clear mail use the small black
key on your room key.



Facilities:
Swimming pool and gym can be used and are located on level 8. Use your
white swipe card to gain access.



Weekly Servicing
is done on the anniversary of the day of your arrival, the cleaners have
their own access keys and will be there after 10am. Beds are remade with
freshly laundered/ironed linen, towels etc. are replenished. The bathroom
is cleaned and the kitchen is given a wipe down. The apartment is dusted
and floors vacuumed and/or washed. The balcony is swept/washed and windows
where accessible are cleaned. We do not wash your dishes as all apartments
have dishwashers for this purpose. Please remove your rubbish daily to the
dedicated areas within the complex. Should you leave the apartment in an
excessively dirty state you will be charged a departure surcharge.






Rubbish:
Next to Metropolis 3101 you will find an access door to the service lift
lobby. Here you can use the rubbish disposal via bins/chute.



Dishwasher:
It is recommended that dishwashing powder be used in the dishdrawer.



TV:
Use the Sony remote to turn on TV. Go to Source button top left of Sony
Remote and scroll down to HDMI-3. Use Sky remote to change channels.



Smoking: NO SMOKING in the apartment or the building.



Electricity:
Please turn the air conditioning OFF when you go out and
upon vacating. The controls for the aircon for the whole apartment are in
the lounge. The control in bedroom is for the heated floor in the ensuite.
Included within your tenancy are the following: Gas, water & Power:
gas, where connected for cooking/heating, to the value of $50 per month and
electricity, to the value of $200.00 per month. Any excess to the above
amounts will be charged against your credit card.




Check out: On the day of departure, please vacate by 10am. Please
ensure all dishes have been washed. On checkout – you will need to use
the swipe to leave the carpark, once you have gone through the second
grill park in the loading zone on the left outside the Metropolis
Residences and return to the apartment and leave the swipes on the
table, go will then need to go the Hotel Lobby to leave the building.
The cleaners will return the swipes/keys to our office.



Fire evacuation plan:
Please ensure that you know where the exit stairs are in relation to your
apartment. Ambulance/Fire/Police: DIAL 111
